I’ve completely changed my business in 2020!
There is no doubt, 2020 has brought a whole lot of change for businesses, individuals and families. So much in fact, that we are seeing businesses pivot and reinvent how they do business – which to me is actually pretty cool. But I get it, change can be hard, pandemic or not.
I’ve always had a desire for learning and have put an emphasis on self-development. In fact my very first full-time job out of college was working in sales for a professional training company. Yeah, I was in my cubicle talking on a headset to people in Wisconsin and Massachusetts, cause you know we all had a territory. I’m sure I looked pretty cool.
I believe we are all works in progress. So, when the world started to change, I was ready to change with it. I decided I was no longer going to put my big goals on hold, it was time to start making them come to life.
I have been working in marketing and social media for 15 years. A LOT has changed in that time and as I meet and speak with entrepreneurs one of the most helpful yet demanding marketing mediums is social media. Why?
It’s a very cost effective way to share information and connect with you audience but it also means a feeling of having to come up something to share on the daily or even more. With the other demands of running a business and managing life, most are left exhausted by the end of the day.
So that means 1 of 2 things happen.
1) Nothing gets posted, your page turns into crickets and you get mad at yourself because you’ve seen other people have great success getting the word out using social media, they must have some super human powers.
