How do we prevent burnout when we start a new business?
We all know starting a business takes time and effort. So, how do we make sure we keep our health, relationships and sanity in check? Although difficult, especially as women, boundaries are essential for having it all without burning out. When we don’t set clear, healthy boundaries, the lessons we learn can be hard ones.
In today’s conversation Riley shares how she started her business and how she manages full time work + side business. We discuss what happens when passion meets creativity. Riley is currently a full-time teacher, her passion, but she also has a few side gigs and her own business. She wants to do it all, but has come to realize doing it all has its own set of challenges. Burnout and mental health can be at stake if we’re not careful.
In today’s episode, I speak with Riley of Dunes Cheese Gal, a company that creates custom cheese and charcuterie boards for tri-state Siouxland. Riley grew her custom cheese and charcuterie board business while working full time and juggling other side gigs.
In this conversation, Riley shares about her painful miscarriage, her realization with implementing boundaries in her business, and how she is putting her health first.
