4 Topics for Blog Posts

If you blog, then you know that sometimes it can be hard to come up with your next topic. If you’re not currently blogging, but you’re considering starting one for your business, then we’ll just give you a heads up. Sometimes the ideas will flow and you’ll have topics for weeks. Other times, you’ll feel like you’ve blogged about everything you can and just aren’t sure what should be next.

If you’re starting to blog or are just looking for a few new ideas, here are some topics we like to blog about. The best thing about them is they’re all pretty broad, so you can create a few posts out of each subject!

FAQs
FAQs are always a great subject. Since it’s something that comes up a lot, people will be interested. Plus, a blog post is a great resource to direct customers to if they have questions. You can create a post answering a single question if it requires a more detailed answer. Of course, you’re not going to have a one sentence answer make up an entire blog, so if you do have enough of those, answer a few in one post! New questions always come up, so this is one you can do again, if necessary.

Popular Topics in Your Field
Is there anything trending right now in your industry? Write a blog post! It will show you’re relevant and up to date on what’s going on. For example, we do a lot with social media. We encourage its use and give tips on when and what to post. So when Facebook is in the news for something (whether it’s good or bad) we want to update our audience on what’s going on and if they should be aware of anything. Is there something new happening in your field? Write a little bit about it and how you plan to take part in the update.

How-To’s
Is there a feature on your product many users don’t know about or utilize? Are you an expert in something and can explain how to get started? (How To Go Live on Facebook, How To Train Your Dog, etc.) Share it with your readers, and again, you can do this more than once!

Self-Care/Self-Improvement
If you check out our blog posts, you’ll notice there’s a lot of self-care topics. It’s because we’re passionate about it! No matter what business you’re in, if you’re interested in self-care it can be relevant to you. If you do something in your office like competitions for drinking water throughout the day or walking so many steps, blog about it. A topic like this can be fun because you can update your readers often. Tell them the plan, check in with them half way to explain how it’s going, and finally, share with them the end results and how your team feels! It doesn’t always have to be physical activity either. You can share your tips on how to be productive, good recipes, or ways to relax during a hectic day. This one is obvious if you’re in the business that encourages self-care, but if you’re not, it’s a good way to share more about your brand and what you care about.

Blog posts are nice resources to have available and also make great social media posts! If you don’t already have a blog, it’s something to consider. Plus, you already have some topics for your first few posts!
